Brno Tea Fest
One of the main functions of tea throughout history has been to bring people together. Over a cup, people met and shared their stories. Sharing is what once drew us to tea, what we still enjoy about it today, and what gives us a sense of purpose to carry it forward. And that's how the idea for this festival came about.
Sure, there will be the classics – stalls, lectures, workshops – but we don't intend to stop there. We want to give space to Brno, to the people who live in it, to the businesses that create it, and help tea become a part of it. We want to surprise you, entertain you, and show you tea in a way you might not have known yet.
What have we already done

For (with) tea to Georgia
In July, Richard travelled to Georgia to learn about tea processing from Petre Sich and also visited our farmer Toka in Gezrouli. At this tasting, he will tell you about everything he learned and experienced. Most importantly, you will be able to taste interesting teas directly from Gezrouli and some unique pieces that were created at the workshop – most of which may never be made again.

CHEESE + TEA
CHEESE + TEA? Yes, you read that right! And believe us, it's absolutely amazing!
We're preparing a completely different tasting experience for you than what you're used to. We've paired 4 excellent Dutch cheeses (imported by our friend) with 4 great teas. Because... why not? We've thoroughly tested this combination, and our taste buds were literally dancing with joy.
